“Nobody is saying the officer isn’t responsible for Floyd’s death as he was in his care”
No they are saying he isnt because the guy on the ground was fat or on something that cause him to OD’d and die in the nick of time, and that the officer could not have totally killed him because he like totally only 150 pounds, and other such nonsense.
Kinda like was it cronovirus that killed the patient or the underlying disease they had..
On more than one occasion you can see the officer 'rock' his weight forward onto the knee that was on Floyd's neck.
Even assuming that only 2/3 of the weight was on the neck, that's 99lbs. of force applied to the neck (150 lbs *.66=99 lbs.). Decreasing the size of the area where the force is applied and it goes up dramatically. So at a 6 sq. inch area, the force is equivalent to equivalent to 198 lbs.
