An MSNBC journalist attempted to explain that the violence that erupted in Minneapolis on Thursday night was "mostly a protest" despite a building burning right behind him.
Ali Velshi was reporting live from the Twin Cities amid the uproar following the death of 46-year-old George Floyd. Velshi attempted to explain that what he was witnessing was "calmer" than the night prior.
"For most of the day, today, it looked a lot calmer than yesterday looked," Velshi began after showing his colleague Brian Williams some of the destruction that took place. "And that's what happened yesterday. It picked up later in the evening. The crowds gathered here and the standoff with the police looked very different last night."

I saw that clip earlier. Freakin’ hilarious. “This is not, generally speaking, unruly.” To paraphrase Groucho Marx, who you are gonna believe? MSNBC or your own eyes?
Maybe they could burn his studio down.
That is where Bob is now
Where’s that pic of the dog sitting in the burning house?
I wonder if he would have thought them unruly if they had just burned a bunch of his sh*t to the ground.
But were they socially distancing?
i thought the same thing
OK. But were they wearing masks and socially distancing? Now THAT would have been a crime!
“Maybe they could burn his studio down”
We could only wish.

Brian Williams! Good old Lyin Brian is involved. Perfect.
Baghdad Dog.
My thoughts, exactly. What a joke when our journalists are no better than Saddam Hussein's lackey.
MSNBC reports that Nazi Germany has seen widespread anti-Jewish protests. Generally speaking the protests were peaceful. Protesters with the Sturmabteilung and Hitler Youth exhibited some rowdiness, vandalizing, and removing property from, some 7,500 Jewish owned businesses. The mostly peaceful protesters also destroyed 267 synagogues, and damaged over 1,000 other synagogues, prayer rooms and cemeteries.
Protesters outside the Boemestrasse Synagogue in Frankfurt, Germany.
The exact number of Jews killed during these peaceful protests is not known, but estimates range from 71 to several hundred, along with an unknown number of rapes. Authorities have promised severe punishment of rapes, because that act violates the racial purity laws. The protesters also took some 30,000 Jewish men into custody, and are housing them at Dachau, Buchenwald, and Sachsenhausen.
Stay with MSNBC for the latest updates on these peaceful protests.
