According to local papers the prosecutor said they will have to see if there is other evidence that does not support criminal charges.
Thank you for the comment. I read the local news reports. It seem to me that their clarification did not really retract the district attorneys statement. I will say this. Either this D A made a monumental gaffe or he was laying the groundwork to lower expectations as to possible charges. What he said would be completely bizarre for a district attorney to say. I think he said it deliberately. My educated guess, and mind you this is just a guess, is that he was referring to the autopsy which is still pending.
