64,000 people in Bermuda relay on rain harvesting. I've a residence in the Sonoran Desert and rely on rain. One inch of rain falling on a 1,000 square foot surface provides 623 gallons of water.

Exactly right. With rain and cisterns even Hong Kong could do it.
