A woman in a wheelchair was punched in the head and sprayed with a fire extinguisher after trying to block protesters - allegedly with a knife in her hand - during the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis last night. The woman claimed she was 'peacefully protesting' to stop people from looting a Target store, but she was quickly set upon by a crowd who subdued her in angry scenes on the second night of violence in the city. The crowd outside the Target store shouted that the woman had a knife, and footage showed her holding what appeared to be a sharp object. Named online as Jennifer, she later said she had been 'punched in the head several times' before others tried to restrain her.

Who knows. But I’m glad she apparently wasn’t hurt very badly. And I’m glad she didn’t kill in self-defense any of the people attacking her. She would have been charged with “attempted false arrest” and felony murder. Ain’t life grand!

Jeez, lighten up. Lots of FReepers, myself included, really dislike BAD cops. There’s nothing wrong with that and it certainly doesn’t mean that we dislike the majority who are good, professional cops.

The woman must have been scared out of her wits, instinctively reaching for whatever protection she could find. It’s easy for those who were not in her shoes to lecture her about how she could have done things differently.
The poor guy only wants the essentials.
The important thing is he has on a proper mask. Although he must have used the elastic from his pants to make the mask because his pants are pretty much at half staff.
