Bill Clinton is a LIAR like ALL Liberals. Never believe a word out of his mouth. Linda Tripp who was lacerated for coming forward w/ the intimate details heard directly from lewinsky.... thought, as we all did---there'd be a quick resolution....Bill would, of course, resign in disgrace.
Later Linda said, she was amazed at the "Power of the Two;" together they concocted and rehearsed An Act to extricate themselves from Bill's shocking sex mess.

Not to be forgotten: Bill getting lewinskied thrust (pun intended) Hillary into national positioning----something she desperately wanted. Bill apparently had held her back "til it was her turn."
Now, overnight, Hillary was at the top and she grabbed every opportunity. Maybe Hillary calculated she could help usher Pres Bill out the door, and fulfill her dream.....being a presidential candidate. Ken Starr's 1998 report on Clinton/Lewinsky identified 17 phone sex calls in 1996 and 1997. Clinton told Lewinsky he suspected a foreign embassy (not named) was tapping his telephones, and proposed cover stories......she should say the were just friends and that they knew their calls were being monitored all along, and the phone sex was just a put-on."
Some people tell little white lies, but the Clinron's lie even when they dont have to lie. Just recently, Monica Lewinsky made clear that Slick suborned perjury from her, an impeachable offense, for which he knew would cost him his law license. Clinton lied about that subornation as well while under oath.
MORE EGREGIOUSLY.....Slick even went so far as to have Lewinsky give Linda Tripp written instructions,
coaching Linda on how to properly perjure herself in the Willey matter. (Linda didnt buy it.)
THE LIST GOES ON AND ON: Bill's intimate pal, Vernon Jordan, arranged a $40,000-per-year cushy government job for Lewinsky shortly
after she signed ......but before she filed...... a falsified affidavit saying she had NOT had sex with the president.
As insurance, Clinton had another pal, his Ambassador to the United Nations, Bill Richardson,
personally visit Lewinsky at the Watergate to offer her a government job to shut her up.

She set up what she called a "Bimbo Eruption Team" in the West Wing of the White House composed of tax-paid govt workers including then-Clinton aide George Stephanopolous....now at ABC-TV. The tax-paid West Wing office office operated for eight long years.....and did nothing but shoot down, demean, defame and lacerate any woman who dared surface about Bill's sexual activities.
Hillary took delight in destroying women even though she knew their stories were true.
These expenditures of tax dollars saved Bill's presidency, got Hillary elected to the US Senate, and gave Hillary the prominence she needed to launch the rest of her political ambitions.
