AG Barr is trying to speed up the process in order to reach a solution prior to the election. If he cannot show some conclusions before November and DJT loses the election, all his efforts are for naught. The only alternative would be to appoint a Special Counsel and then DoJ loses all control. All these special issue investigations Barr has tied to the Durham probe.
I believe Barr is aiming at some sort of broad based conspiracy prosecution; else wise he would be bringing individual indictments - against bureaucrats, politicians and media. Rep. Devin Nunez has said as much often. Some FReepers have posited a RICO umbrella of charges; perhaps, but I am not sure that 'racketeering' would cover sedition or treason.
I wonder what’s happening with Durham... I would think Durham would already be on top of this. Show?
