You quarantine the sick and the infected. You don’t quarantine everybody in entire states, with most of them strong and perfectly healthy, and strip everybody of their inalienable God given rights to live as normal human beings, and put a dictator’s boot on their jugular veins.

The Constitution limits the states, if at all, only through the Supreme Court's "incorporation" interpretation of the 14th Amendment - but that same Court has never ruled that the Bill of Rights limits state authority to declare a quarantine for public health.

You quarantine the sick and the infected. You don’t quarantine everybody in entire states, with most of them strong and perfectly healthy, and strip everybody of their inalienable God given rights to live as normal human beings, and put a dictator’s boot on their jugular veins.

It may be bad policy - but it, like many other bad policies, is not unconstitutional for states to enact.
