“They’re there to push photons or electrons and nothing more.”

That’s what the carriers do, not the social media platforms.

The platforms host an application that requires membership to participate in, not unlike FR. They require you agree to their TOS to join and participate.

Everyone is free to participate in their service, or not. As long as you follow their TOS. If you don’t, they can kick you off.

And that TOS has nothing to do with the Bill of Rights.

There are 10’s of thousands of other applications available to everyone who has access to twitter and facebook.

Thank you, I’m kinda shocked at the brownshirt approval of the government coming in and controlling the activities of private companies. If you don’t like the rules, find something else. Go on DU and see if you last 15 seconds for a pro-Trump post. Same as going on FR and see if you last with a pro-biden post.

Standard Oil didn’t own every oil well in the country. What happened there?

Your doctrinaire defense of these hardcore leftist tech bros. that genuinely hate you and yours is amusing.

The fact is these giant social media corps are using their market size and power to abuse the American people. If you don’t have a problem with that then their isn’t much hope.
