Outspoken Trump supporter and television icon Chuck Woolery said on Wednesday that he “should get an award for surviving 45 years" in the entertainment industry and carving out a successful career despite his conservative political views.

“I think I should get an award for surviving 45 years of Liberal Hollywood and still being successful. Against all odds,” Woolery tweeted.

It wasn’t the first time Woolery has criticized the way he has been treated for supporting Trump and conservative politics.

The Avant-Garde: "Naturally Stoned"

From 1968. Written by Chuck Woolery, and he is one of the two voices in the recording.

IIRC Chuck Woolery productions had the Unknown Comic, a comic who wore a paper bag over his head back about 1979. That is how you survive as a conservative in Hollywood.

That was Chuck Barris of the Gong Show. Chuck Woolery did Wheel of Fortune, Love Connection, and several others.

Woolery is also a pro 2nd Amendment.

Joe McCarthy warned of commies in the government and in Hollywood.

History and our modern times clearly shows commies are in neither Hollywood or government. /sarcasm/

Wouldn’t it be nice for a new McCarthy movement to come alive and clean things up? I think this will happen when snow balls survive Hell.

I remember the In Living Color episode with Jim Carrey playing Chuck Woolery, in a spoof of Love Connection, with Keenan Ivory Wayans, playing Mike Tyson.

Pay close attention at the end.

I can personally vouch that Woolery is a down to earth guy. It was my first trip to the golf pro shop to sell my wares and I wandered in the wrong door.....found myself in the mens locker room....face to face with Chuck. Riviera or Bel Air—don’t remember now which it was, but it was Hollywood’e elite club.

Obviously this non-member pitchman was out of place. He very cooly directed me to the golf shop. No questions asked, no sideway glances. I expected to explain myself.

Conservatives are down to earth, and golfers even more so.
