If it were me, I think an insult or two to my personal vanity would be worth one less dead person or a billion dollars in lost output. But I’m not Trump. He keeps strewing land mines in front of his chosen path. If he ends up being 2-term president, it will be in spite of his many acts of self-sabotage.
