If Sessions had done even a cursory look at the facts, he would have never had an excuse to step aside.
Session’s time of fame and fortune....has come to a close. He’s proven that he’s out of touch with society and the times. He should just retire and take to gardening.
If Sessions does get elected he could end up as the next McCain. I hope the voters of Alabama listen to Trump.
Deputy Dawg Sessions effed himself and he comes back for more.
I see Sessions as a real black hat in all of this. I think he is trying to torpedo the seat for republicans.
The jackass could have resigned.
My new tagline.
Sessions has many defenders here. Most recently, after Sessions’s reply to Trump, I saw this:
Sessions offered to resign, but Trump insisted that he stay on.
OK, fine. But all of us — on the outside — saw the coup coup d’état that was developing. Sessions’s office was right inside the DoJ. And if he didn’t see from the inside what we all saw from the outside, then he was no more situationally-aware than is Joe Biden is today.
And if Sessions did put the pieces together and still refused to step aside, knowing the damage that hoax was doing to the administration, and worse — to the rule of law — then was he in on it?
Either way, it’s not good. Jeff Sessions has outlived his usefulness and should just go away.
Sessions, after these naps we’ll be right back.
Sleepy sessions was always just soooooo sleepy for some reason.
I am a Trump supporter but this doesn’t play well, especially with women and independents, the big picture of winning reelection and holding the senate is more important. Even if he doesnt’ feel it, you has to ac the bigger person and offer forgiveness. Just doesn’t help
Sessions claims he stopped three immigration bills. No. The last one was passed by the Senate and killed in the House.
When contemplating the malign activity of Rod Rosenstein; and how angered President Trump is with former AG Jeff Sessions; it is worth remembering that Sessions requested Rod Rosenstein as his deputy, and then immediately thereafter Sessions recused himself, effectively positioning Rosenstein to run the operation against President Trump.
That’s the background context for a great interview by Gregg Jarrett where Jarrett walks through the timeline of events with former HPSCI Chairman Devin Nunes. At the 5:30 point of the interview, Nunes identifies Rosenstein as part of the coup attempt and blasts him for how Rosenstein structured the fraudulent scope memos.
Nunes says his investigation is now looking at the part of the effort where Robert Mueller’s investigation was used as part of the initiating effort to remove President Trump. With the focus on the Mueller team, Nunes is now making additional criminal referrals based on his findings. WATCH:

It’s hard for me to imagine that Sessions has a snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected. Who on earth is voting for him?
Barr’s proof that you don’t have to recuse yourself to do nothing.
