Bodies laying on the street in third world countries is normal.

Brazil has a population over 200m. 20k deaths is not even a rounding error. If the final toll is 50 times higher than that even, it will still amount to all of a half percent of their population.

Get out of fear mode. This was never a killer virus.

I think you're in denial - a sign of fear. By your words, you are telling the world you have no feelings for those who've died or been injured from this around the globe, including over 100 thousand of your own fellow countrymen who've died, not to mention those impacted for life. You're also ignorant of some very basic facts:

Brazil isn't a third world country. And any disease which has killed over 100k people in the USA alone, in less than three months, is most certainly "a killer". It's well on its way to becoming the biggest killer since the Spanish flu epidemic which occurred at the beginning of the last century.

That's enough bodies to fill 1,400 refrigerated 18-wheeler trailers with 72 bodies each. That's a convoy 27 miles long, at Interstate speeds, would take it over half an hour to pass thru your town. This number died in less than three months and we still have no idea how long we'll have to deal with CV.

For everyone who died, many suffered the traumatic experience of having a loved one die - over a million people are missing a close relative, if for everyone who died, ten were left behind to morn them.

This isn't over. Repercussions will be many and great. They may eventually become existential if world war breaks out.
