I’m with you - must be of the same generation...mid ‘80’s..I like it just fine and can do without everything except a computer, thank you very much. I can even walk without clutching a phone in my hand. We have neighbors out walking since this infernal lock down and they are walking with their phones in front of them - reading, texting - who knows?

My age is in the 70’s, and I started Fortran in 1966, making my living using mainframes and PCs.
I try to keep doing math in my head. Calculating MPG to one decimal, after a fillup, while driving down the road.
Sometimes it surprises the cashiers how fast I can calc the tax, or discount. WHAT, you were right, how did you do that.
