LOL. So censorship is now a "feature"?

As a private feature Twitter can censor whoever they want. But censor the President? I think that would take bigger cojones than the Twitter management has.

Yes, they are publicly held companies, but they are deeply into oligopoly territory where these behemoth companies control the majority of the news and discussion. That is not healthy.
