I have a neighbor who has asthma. She wore a mask on windy days before this pandemic. I don’t think Rush is saying not to wear a mask if you feel there is a good reason. Some are wearing them for virtue signalling.
It’s over 100 degrees here in Tucson. I am not coughing or sneezing and I social distance so I choose not to wear a mask.
Also, I’ve seen young grocery store workers become dizzy from CO2 retention after having them on too long.

Also, I’ve seen young grocery store workers become dizzy from CO2 retention after having them on too long. I cannot imagine wearing one of these damn face masks for much more than a typical trip in and out of a store - especially in the summer heat.
I only wear (cloth) masks when I absolutely HAVE to, ie in stores. The minute I'm back in my car, the mask comes off! The hotter it gets here in CT, the more I hate wearing the damn things.

Someone here on fr was all for lynching people without masks and claim people showed hatred to them for wearing a mask.
If the maskless person scares you, do not approach them.
