Chris Wallace was back to challenging the Trump administration on Fox News Sunday this week, criticizing Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany for impugning the faith of reporters who questioned the presidents push to reopen places of worship.
On Friday, Trump threatened to override the authority of governors if they did not reopen religious buildings that have been closed in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19. When reporters told McEnany that the president had no legal authority to do so, she responded by saying she found it interesting to be in a room that desperately wants to seem to see these churches and houses of worship stay closed.
McEnany then told the White House press corps what questions they should be asking, specifically, about Mike Flynn.
I spent six years in the White House briefing room covering Ronald Reagan, Wallace began on his Sunday broadcast. I have to say, I never and in the years since too I never saw a White House press secretary act like that. I have to say that if Kayleigh McEnany had told Sam Donaldson and me what questions we should ask, that would not have gone well.

According to Wallace, and his deeply, deeply offended compatriots, the press can be as aggressive as it wishes, can misrepresent time and again what the President stands for, can be as sneering and offensive as they wish, but heaven forbid a spokeswoman for the President give it right back to them. That's totally unacceptable as the press represents all that is good and pure in our national life.
Wallace is a complete rectum.
What if they had a Chris Wallace and nobody cared?
He did not condemn reporters for saying Trump was a Russian agent or that he betrayed his country.
That was an incredibly biased and unfair segment. I walked by the TV when it was on. Everyone was railing Kayleigh, saying she works for the people, why does she need to cop an attitude? As if the press is fair.
I never heard of any Chris Wallace. No idea what that is.
Saying that the reporters seem to want to keep the places of worship closed is not challenging their faith. Their faith has nothing to do with whether the churches, synagogues, mosques, etc., are open or not. I think that one of the so-called reporters even pointed out that people could pray at home.
Chrissy needs to come to a briefing. If he tries to mess with Kayleigh he will get a beating like young Mike Tyson use to give people. He is a total light weight. Should be on MSNBC were if his Mom watched he would have an audience of one.
The “media” has been on its high horse for decades
Terrible jobs of “reporting’ Cheer leading is more like it

And apparently neither could Chris Wallace - so he just spouted out a non-sequitur comment. Another case of Chris being the lady that doth protest too much...
My thoughts also.
