Join us for America's night of remembrance as we pay tribute to our fallen heroes and Gold Star families. This year's special presentation of the National Memorial Day Concert will be streaming live tonight, May 24, at 8 p.m. EDT - 5 p.m. PDT.
as we cower in our homes.
Not one soldier died for what we have become throughout this "crisis". The term "hero" and "American Strong" are thrown out so loosely.
Some of worked all the way through this circus. I have yet to wear a mask or gloves. I am not going to hide under the bed.
It’s always on Sunday night- it’s repeated on Monday.
I attended this concert in 1998 and it was a life changing event- it is highly recommended to see this in person.
I was overjoyed to see they were broadcasting this tonight- minus the 250,000 people who usually show up.
Wow, I bet it is awesome to see in person, thanks for the info too.
Ive also seen the concert live and would agree it is a memorable experience.God Bless us all.
Anyone started looking for fireworks?
I have only worn a mask to go to Mass. its that important to me
Whoever watches it can you report back on how many “We are corona strong” commercials there were?
Question:
Now will PBS twist the comments to make it seem like a socialist party celebration?
Good grief, the opening was different celebr-idiots thanking the military for their service, not even close to the real meaning of Memorial Day.
Don't they know if you don't wear a mask, you're going to die?!!? 🙄
In all honesty, try and make the trip one day. The entire Memorial Day weekend in DC is life changing.
obviously Joe Montagne has strictly followed home quarantine guidelines and has not cut or even brushed his hair.
I would like to know the name of the classical music that
was playing while Sam Elliott was relating the D-Day landing story.
If you can identify it, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

In KC on KCPT the national memorial convert runs several times in rerun but wjen live they run KC’s Symphony doing an event at The Union Station with fireworks. That event is then reruned on July 4th and other stations in Missouri/Kansas rerun it on July 4th.

Yes, I heard that in there, too.
It was blended in with another classical song in the background
while Sam related the D-Day story.
Thanks, and may God bless you and yours.
another very moving event is Rolling Thunder. We used to live in Alexandria near 395 and we would be on bridge as Rolling Thunder drove under us and it was magnificent.
