Black and Latino Groups and Leaders Want Anyone but Amy Klobuchar for Biden's Vice President

This shows that I don’t know beans about internal Democrat Party politics. I thought that Klobuchar was (is?) the sanest choice for Veep that the Democrats have.

If the party was sane, they'd have rallied behind someone like John Hickenlooper for prez allowing them to go far left/minority female VP to rally the base with the safety to the middle that Hickenlooper would've likely not died in office.

Instead, they hooked their wagon behind a 77-year old establishment hack white guy with dementia. This means that there's a good chance whoever they pick as VP might actually have to step up to the plate. Klobucher is the sanest choice they have, unfortunately at the expense of their far left and minority voting demographic who is far from enthusiastic over this.

Biden doesn’t need an African-American woman for a running mate, he’s got that vote, and he doesn’t need a California native for the same reason. Logically — that is, Democrat logically — he should go with the “most experienced” woman. Of course, logically, she’ll be even less popular than she was 4 years ago. But Biden would have a hard time explaining how Amy Klobuchar is better suited to take over, should the need arise, than Hillary Clinton. Same goes for any other contender. With Hillary they’ll say she’d be ready on day 1. You know, at 3am.
