My question is, Where are the Congressmen, Senators, State Representatives, and other Republican politicians to support them? The only politician who seems to have our back is Donald Trump, but when every Republican official in American loathes and despises him as much as the democrats, it gets kind of hard.
“My question is, Where are the Congressmen, Senators, State Representatives, and other Republican politicians to support them? “
Kissing Chamber of Commerce ass.
Good point.
Aside from Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and a few house Republicans, the numbers are few.
Here in Arizona when the Governor extended his Stay at Home order the County Supervisors and State Representatives got into action. The Republicans at the Legislature threatened to overturn it by vote which would have been a tremendous embarrassment. A few days later he flipped his order and pretty much completely opened up everything. There are good Republican leaders out there. :)
Good point. And I have another question, where are business leaders, CEO’s etc. applying pressure to open things back up, if for no other reason than to try to save their companies? It would be nice to expect them to speak up to defend freedom and free enterprise in general but I guess that’s in my dreams. Maybe stuff is going on behind the scenes we don’t see.
When will we all learn that the Republican pols and Democrat pols are all in on this together?
I have long believed that they pit us against one another. That they sit in a backroom together, laughing, lighting cigars with $100 bills collected from the backs of our productivity.
Main Mississippi seems to be doing good - a few isolated incidents that were likely perpetrated by rabid lefties, but the place is cracking open like an oyster on a rock-wielding otter’s belly...
casinos began opening 2 days ago and yesterday the main highway along the beach was jam packed and all the parking areas were full and I cruised along about 14 miles of beach with LOTS of people enjoying it...gonna be another nice day so i expect traffic to be a pain today and tomorrow too.
