Coronavirus hospitalizations in NC increase again — and reach another new high

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services reported 1,011 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, and 24 new deaths, while the number of people hospitalized because of the virus reached a new high.

Health officials seeing large increase of COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — The state’s capital city has seen a major increase in coronavirus cases compared to two of the state’s largest counties: Jefferson and Mobile. Now hospitals in Montgomery are seeking help to give their nurses some relief.
