We are working on that. He is very resistant to change and has dementia which complicates things. Hes not quite ill enough to move with us, but just enough that we have to call him several times a day to make sure he eats and takes meds.
The time is getting near though. He says he prefers to go to assisted living when its time but we keep telling him that is a REALLY bad idea. When he spends time here, he eats better (more protein, less carbs) and walks every day and his mental status improves. He helps me on the farm and loves it. Hoping we can convince him to sell his house and move here.
The carbs make a big deal at his age.
have you read about the fasting and improvement with cognition in the treatment of alzheimers/etc?
