‘I’m looking for the truth’: States face criticism for COVID-19 data cover-ups

While boosting a state’s total testing number, health experts have said that practice does not give a proper picture of how the virus is spreading, the Associated Press reported.
The CDC announced it planned to separate the data and some of those states have stopped doing so or committed to change course, CNN reported.

rather cheeky for Frieden to be speaking up, seeing it was his former job to ensure that the CDC was equipped to present information in a valid way, during and after his tenure ended

ENGLAND - much ado about nothing
Several Church of England bishops have criticized UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson after he refused to sack his chief aide Dominic Cummings, who is accused of breaking lockdown restrictions multiple times.
Cummings drove 260 miles across England in March to stay with his parents while his wife was sick with Covid-19 symptoms.
His movements, during a time when most of the UK was in lockdown, have sparked a political scandal in Britain.

The CDC really has mess things up here. They need a public communication office, if they have one they need to fired them all. A lot of the general public are misreading their data and how they count positives because the content on the website does target the general population (note: note not reading level but the use of vocabulary/terms for intended audience. Their site is written for Doctors and other professionals).
A lot of their data posted on the CDC website is being misrepresented to push political agendas across social media. Example: Provisional Death Counts.
This bad communications has resulted in two extremes in the public beliefs. One side: the world is going to end, and the other the virus is fake to control people. People in the middle are confuse for being one or the other: the world is going to end or it is fake.
President Trump needs leadership changes in the CDC to address this issue. I am not sure if the CDC did this on purpose or if is just bad leadership like the VA. I will go with bad management. It is time for some retirements with some new fresh people to be hired. Same goes for the State level versions of the CDC.
I will stop digressing for now.
