Business Secretary Alok Sharma is self-isolating at home after becoming unwell in Parliament.
Mr Sharma looked uncomfortable while taking part in a debate on Wednesday, mopping his brow several times with his handkerchief while speaking.
A spokesman said the MP for Reading West had been tested for coronavirus and had returned home.
While it is unknown if Mr Sharma has the virus, it has added to the row over virtual proceedings in Parliament.

Suddenly going up by 1000 cases a day here in AZ the past two days. It had been 4-500
Florida is ticking up too, highest one day spike in cases:

Florida reports highest jump in coronavirus cases since pandemic began
Hopefully they’re all mild.
Lower initial viral load and higher D3 in the patients?
Let’s hope so and cross fingers...
Yes, Im still watching the hospitalizations because thats a better indicator. I think cases are dependent on the amount of testing And death rate has a lag time.
Agree re: hospitalizations.
About right for memorial day festivities. Takes a week-10 days for symptoms. A cpl more for ‘yeah i need to get tested, i feel like crap’.
Now that it’s really hot there, most people are ‘inside’ anyways most of the time.
Although the coldest I’ve ever been at the end of June was on the north side of the Grand Canyon one year. GOT SNOWED ON!. Was NOT prepared for that, had packed shorts, tshirts and flip flops. Brrrrr
Authors retract influential study linking hydroxychloroquine to mortality risk for coronavirus patients

Three authors have retracted a study on the risks of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the COVID-19 virus that had been highly influential.
The article, published in the journal Lancet, had found that hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria drug, increased mortality and heart problems in patients suffering from the coronavirus. It had been cited in criticizing President Trump’s promotion of the drug as a remedy for the disease.

Now FULLY retracted by The Lancet:
What’s the point of this publication if they’re not going to bother with peer review?
“Whats the point of this publication if theyre not going to bother with peer review?”
As I have pointed out before, these days peer review is mostly for political correctness, not scientific accuracy or correct methodology. And the political correctness of anti-Trump propaganda is self evident. Numerous hoax papers have made it through the peer review process to publication. As have plenty of junk science papers that were intended to be serious.
Apparently, not providing access to data and models has become the norm in scientific papers over the past 2 decades. Look to climate science as the worst offender.
My podunk county picked up 9 new cases this week. 60% of all cases confirmed after the opening up. Thank you, Memorial Day tourists. Let’s see how many more next week during the scheduled riots, uh, protests.
Thankfully, the lazy slow workers (and the parade of other workers, friends, and their wives and little kids) next door are finished and packing up. Hope they don’t forget something and have to come back tomorrow.
Cuomo showed 4 graphs in his presser today, all of states where cases went up after their “lockdown” was lifted. Can’t remember the states. It’s going to be worse in NYC after the protest cases start being counted.
No better “cuckoo clock from hell” to tell the tale. Vonnegut was right. Pick and choose according to the whim of the moment, like a broken clock.
“Look to climate science as the worst offender.”
Exactly. Political correctness rather than scientific correctness.
Hoping things settle down in your county.
Picking up in mine.
I think I remember Texas, Arizona, and two others. Don’t want to watch the whole thing again. But all four of them had definite upswings at the end, not like those two states on this link. Maybe different dates? Couldn’t see the dates on these.
