Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard “Ric” Grenell announced today he is in the process of declassifying the transcripts of the calls between Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
Within a twitter response by Grenell, part of the riddle behind the transcripts gets a little more clarity: “The IC doesn’t have all the transcripts/summaries…. it wasn’t our product.”

The implication here is the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) did not generate one of the transcripts; that evolved into an FBI equity, and was later used in their case against Lt. General Michael Flynn. The December 29, 2016, intercept was not exclusive to the U.S. intelligence apparatus, and the call summary became proprietary to the FBI; the agency exploiting the underlying content.
This makes sense and explains how the FBI was able to manipulate the framework of the call and keep the remaining U.S. intelligence system away from their internal plan.
There was more than one phone call and conversation between Flynn and Kislyak. Some immediately after the election and in/around mid-December 2016. Reports of those contacts and communications WERE in the U.S. IC network and those reports led to unmasking requests. However, the specific December 29th communication was not an exclusive intercept of the U.S. intelligence community and therefore easier for the FBI to shape.

Suzan Rice was demanding the transcript be released. No doubt she thought Grenell’s hands would be tie so he could not release it. He is calling her bluff. I bet we will hear the Dems crying about this any minute now!
Well Adam Schiff, looks like you might be getting what you want after all. I hope it buries his butt.
If it wasn’t an Intelligence report, it would have to be a criminal investigative report and targeting Flynn, not the russian. Big if true, but it’s also a pretty big assertion.

The US Intercepts the call. They can’t use it. Brennan calls GHCQ and pulls a favor. He get them to send him the transcript on the side. ILLEGAL. He takes parts of the conversation and sends them to Peter Strzok, thinking they can use this and never reveal how they got it..
Strzok uses the ‘cuts’ to interview Flynn. They got nothing on Flynn. They end up having to get him on the fabricated lying charge. HOWEVER…..
Someone in the FBI leaked the cuts without talking with Brennan. This put Brennan in a HUGE bind. He used illegally obtained intelligence.
When Hannigan, the British GHCQ guy, found out, he knew his career was over. He resigned.

Yep..THE CRAP IS ANOUT TO HIT THE FAN. FBI’s Wray knows it and THAT is the reason Wray suddenly got religion and asked the FBI’s “Internal Affairs” unit to investigate the Flynn thing. He knew he no longer had any choice. Now watch Wray and the FBI say they can’t comment on it because “it’s under investigation”. So don’t look for any resolution until AFTER THE ELECTION.
Hmmm ... Gee, you don't suppose someone was spying on the Trump campaign, do you? Knowing Strzok and team I would wonder whether they were spying on everybody and then using the information gleaned to create out of thin air what they thought would justify a warrant. That would mean that the probably cause listed in various warrants would be fabricated crap; kinda like the forged email used to get a Carter Page Fisa warrant.

How much do you want to bet it was either Strzok or Page that leaked it. They altered the 302...basically enhanced it, and I read today that the electronic communication that Strzok put together to start Crossfire Hurricane, contained a "phrase" that was different to what Australian high commissioner to the United Kingdom Alexander Downer had documented in a memo after his meeting with Papadopoulos. It wouldn't surprise me if Strzok added text to Downer's statement to enhance the importance of the investigation.

Time will tell. But this sounds like what Dan Bongino was saying recently. All that Flynn unmasking, but there is the date of the actual Kislyak call and he was not saying unmasked then/there.
We’ll never get the entire story. But we are close to having enough.

I think you might be partially correct @ post 14.
Downer’s alleged statements about what occurred did not match the FISA attribution or the testimony - certainly not the Woods file since they did not really even bother with it. I think some people were writing fiction that was attributed to Downer, Halper, Mifsud, and/or Steele. Uh oh.
We are still missing more pieces than we have on the table, but the pace is picking up quickly. There is a record of just about everything involved in this case just waiting to be found. I think they even have more text messages between the lovebirds that have not yet been released that may further connect the dots.
I think you do have it correct above and named the right person - they (the lovebirds) fudged the call because they could knowing only a select group had access to it. They abandoned all pretense of fairness, ethics, and justice to achieve a desired result.
How do we know this?
Because there are too many players (previously pretty silent) who are pushing stories to the media and in interviews trying to get ahead of something..... Comey has gone silent as the designated fall guy..... and out of the blue, Wray declares there will be an internal investigation. Barr makes his most damning statement yet publicly. Trump all of a sudden tweets #Obamagate.
The coup plotters are confused and the finger pointing is beginning.
The leak of the Flynn call transcript you reference above is believed to have come from Baker at the Pentagon - Office of Net Assessment. There have been some stories out there and I think Sidney Powell has said this in interviews. He had a very cozy relationship with David Ignasius (sp?) the reporter who broke the story. The question becomes who asked him to do this? He does not strike me as that brazen, but maybe he was. I don’t have much of a read on him.
If it were not him that it is likely the FBI summary of the call is different than the received product and that means whomever altered it prior to leaking it will be discovered as only a few had it.
Wray will try to drag out his internal review until after November, but this thing is picking up speed and honestly he has very little control over it. I think Wray knows there are some big hits coming and they cannot delay the inevitable so he is trying to take a more defensible position.
The real movers in this are Jensen and Durham. Jensen was former FBI and knows the bureau so I suspect he is handling more of that. Durham (previously investigated the intel community) is likely on to bigger fish and I think Lee Smith’s article from a couple of days ago is the closest glimpse we have had to the big picture and it explains why all of a sudden we are seeing Rice grant interviews, the democrats in the know going silent or requesting transcripts to be released (Schiff for transparency?), and Obama himself throwing jabs at Trump.

Trump keeps his promises and when he tweeted #Obamagate it indicated that he has either learned something concrete that will soon be released or he has instinctively put it all together much as Lee Smith did in this article.
He claimed he was wiretapped and the left howled with outrage - he was right.
He called it all a nasty and vicious hoax and the left and republicrats screamed and howled - he was right.
Now he has labeled it #Obamagate. They predictably howled and all of a sudden Obama starts making public statements again.....
He will be right again.
Now we have to wonder what Comey will do..... everyone is pointing the finger at him - his subordinates to include McCabe, his peers (Brennan and Clapper), and his “boss” at the White House (see Rice’s last email for the record). However, as someone said above he kept copious memos and knows a lot of dirt.
And if Biden wins, everything gets covered up, never to see the light of day again.
