The suspect who was shot dead as he carried out Thursday's 'terrorism-related' attack on a Texas naval air base has been identified by the FBI as a 20-year-old Syrian-born college student.
According to investigators, Adam Salim Alsahli opened fire at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi in an attack that wounded one sailor, a member of the base security force, but no one other than the assailant was killed.
A group that monitors online activity of jihadists has since claimed that Alsahli voiced support for hardline Islamic clerics on social media prior to the thwarted attack.

I thought even the terrorists knew better than to try something like this in Texas. I mean look what happened at the draw the prophet mohammed contest.

And there was precisely ZERO mention of these facts in my local news in San Antonio, the nearest major metropolitan area to where the attack was carried out, although the shooting incident itself was ALL OVER that same news program last night. Damned dishonest media!

I have said since Sept. 12, 2001, the easiest, most effective and cheapest “anti-terror” measure the US could have taken would be a simple travel ban into the USA for anyone from North Africa, the Mid-east, or South Asia. It literally would have saved us $7 Trillion and thousands of dead Americans.
But people much smarter than me decided that endless wars abroad, and importing millions of Muslims into the US nanny state made much more sense.
