Lying and putting Covid19 on death certificates worked, so why not this? Once the lab tests that verify Covid-19 comes back, they count the death as a confirmed Covid-19 death. Before that, it may be a presumed death if the symptoms were consistent with Covid-19 but not laboratory confirmed.
