In slowed down frame-by-frame video, it’s clear we have no visual of the moment of the initial encounter between Travis McMichael and Arbery. Arbery ran past the truck on the passenger side. Travis McMichael moved from the driver side to the front of the truck. As Arbery came to the front of the truck, the truck blocks the view of whatever takes place until Arbery and Travis McMichael are already engaged in a life and death struggle. There is no audio of any words exchanged between Arbery and the McMichaels during the encounter.
