A Michigan barber who defied coronavirus stay-at-home orders from Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer stated Thursday that he remains rooted in his convictions.
In an interview on "Fox & Friends First" with hosts Jillian Mele and Rob Schmitt, Karl Manke said he's not sure what will happen next. A Shiawassee County Circuit Court judge must rule by 5 p.m. EDT Thursday whether or not Manke's Owosso barbershop should be shut down.
"I hope that there's a certain amount of sanity that will prevail," he remarked. "But, so far ... this governor, we've had nothing but trouble with her. The legislatures had told her she was not assigned this part of this position that she's taken to shut us down for another 28 days ... And, she has defied their order."

Trump should stop by later today and get his hair cut.

Funny.
Maybe his namesake could do that?

My nephew has a great career in Michigan, but he is so absolutely fed up with her that they plan to get out of the state. I wonder how many others will feel the same way.
I believe Michigan ranks just slightly behind New York in the number of residents who pick-up and move to lower tax sunbelt states the day they retire.
Many of them UAW members showing blatant hypocrisy (including, sadly, my late father-in-law).
I always found the use of the word scab by union types amusing. Theyd be the first to hire a cheaper gardener, or house painter, or what have you when the coin is coming out of their own pockets.
Haircuts? Meh. I cut my own hair at the beginning of this month and it didn’t turn out as badly as I expected. With a bit more practice I might be able to save money on haircuts for the rest of my life. Who knew the shutdown would make us more self-sufficient again? Wake me when the 4th of July fireworks are back on.
