There have been two new cases of the coronavirus reported in the Panhandle Health District since Friday.
PHD reports there are a total of 70 cases, with 66 in Kootenai County and four in Bonner County. Boundary, Benewah and Shoshone counties still have no cases.
Sixty-seven of the cases are no longer being monitored.
As of Wednesday, only seven of the 70 cases have resulted in hospitalizations.
There has not been the feared outbreak of cases since restaurants, salons and gyms reopened Friday.
Gov. Brad Littles reopening plan for the state allows bars to open May 30.
Now if only those Washingtonians would obey their own state orders and stop driving to Coeur d'Alene and using our lakes and parks!
Pretty much. The vast majority are polite, industrious, armed to the teeth and don’t suffer fools gladly.
Polite to a fault and friendly as can be, too.
I thought Coeur d’Alene was off limits to Californians, not Washingtonians. HaHa. I have relatives in beautiful Cd’A. They just want people to leave them alone and allow them to enjoy all the beauty of the North Idaho lakes and mountains.
One of the world’s most beautiful places. Oops, I let the secret out of the bag.
