Parents don’t have to worry about school shootings. Also teach them at home using a Zoom type product.
How could we make this work ? .....an scenario in which one parent works outside the house and the other either parents or works from home and also parents/home schools.
I don’t have a clue, but could a work-at-home parent also home school ?...and do an acceptable job at either responsibility ?

Not only are the schools indoctrination centers, they also are incubators of anti-social behaviors like bullying. Kids who are bullies and allowed to get away with it are obviously not adapting well, but neither are the kids that they victimize. And the costs of bullying are very high. The left, of course, doesn't care about bullying unless the victim is one of their professional victim classes, especially the LBGTQRMCVIP class.
