I know a lot of parents in L.A. who have the same issue. Even the lefty parents. I also graduated from a private Christian academy (not here) and my parents hated the notion of us attending public school, even if it cost a lot of money. My brother does the same with his kids. I just learned from his kid’s private school which has it’s own church, that part of the acceptance to school is that parents HAVE to be involved in the school weekend bingo nights to help in their kid’s tuition fees which is actually brilliant.
About the kid wearing a helmet for this Roller as we used to call them in Germany. Honestly I have to laugh. The kid is riding that thing, she moved forward by pushing it with her right foot along. II can see making a child wear a helmet while riding a bike.
