There were some Bayless stores in the Phoenix area well into the 90s. They sold out to Bashas, while keeping their upscale A.J.’s Fine Food locations.

Worked in Phoenix in 84-85, lived in beautiful Ahwatukee, never saw those stores. Over on the West side maybe, past the freeway?
Do remember A.J.’s, guess I didn’t realize that was the upscale brand.
