Some states require up to 1500 hours of training to cut hair. No states can EXPLAIN that, though.

They do not want to because they will let the proverbial cat out of the bag. Two reasons: revenue and control, not necessarily in that order.

It takes MANY hours to get a license to cut here in MA.
Ridiculous.

A lot of this training is supposedly for, get this...SAFETY AND HYGIENE REASONS.

And yet they aren't supposed to be trusted with their "training?"

These licenses are nothing more than a money grab, pure and simple.
