Yes it is the company decision and if not like it, don’t shop there. THEY should offer a mask though.
‘Playing’ Devils Advocate inre of what a company can or can’t do, the same ‘rule’ that says a CO can say
- no shirt, no service or no mask, no service- are acting within their rights BUT
under the same premise, I should be able to open a bar or restaurant or even offer a bus or plane that allows smoking and if ‘you’ don’t like it, work elsewhere or eat elsewhere.
If enough people don’t agree and NOT patronize or work because of MY policy, it is up to ME to decide whether to stay open or close and NOT expect the government to ‘bail me out’ because I ‘failed’.
OTOH, if my business model is successful others will follow suit but it should be OUR choice, not some politicians.
I wonder what percentage of people who defend the decision of a private business are full on board for smoking bans. “Shop elsewhere” could easily be “eat elsewhere”. Just looking for ideological consistency.
Agreed. What I don't understand are the number of "Freepers" that apparently don't think you should even criticize or protest the policy.
