Covid Nazi: Costco turning tyrannical
Citizen Free Press ^ | 5.19.20

We need to proactively reach out to these companies that are allowing this behavior and tell them it is NOT acceptable. I just left a message for the CFO of Costco and I highly recommend you all do the same.

The forcing of masks on us like we're sheep is completely unacceptable and if we don't step to the plate and push back on this they won't stop.

Being a bit dramatic. Costco, with its deep pockets, is probably trying to ward off liability lawsuits from slip and fall lawyers for not following prescribed safety protocols.

I am not disagreeing with you, right there with you.

I was just thinking that the church can require masks and people are compliant, but what if they require Bible reading and regular attendance, how compliant would most be then?

Did the leadership even think about it?

I know and you know masks are not the real issue, what is? This is an opportunity to witness to “milk drinkers” if done right.

“NY + NJ are about 42% of US deaths,”

NEW YORK CITY AREA!

I live in “NEW YORK” and the death count in my county is ZERO!

Why am I under ANY KIND of restrictions? Hmmmm?

While it is true that Costco is a private company and can within limits have its own policies, what in the blazes is wrong with Costco customers telling the company that they find a policy objectionable and that the policy affects their willingness to continue patronizing Costco. Being a private company does not make the company immune to criticism.

Disagree.

Costco is membership based and members have the right to sue and demand Costco prove in court the science they use to make their decision.

There are also scientific arguments that masks do more harm than good.

By requiring masks without scientific basis, Costco puts their members at risk.

Among the “toxins” is carbon dioxide. People who are prone to hypoxia can have that condition exacerbated by wearing a mask.

If you’re concealed how are they going to know you’re carrying?

What’s the worst they can do, ask you to leave?

A Costo shopper named Erik Scott was SWATTED by one of the employees and died in a hail of gunfire. He never drew his gun.

I spend over $1k per month at Costco and will let all those executives know I will cancel my membership if they allow ignorant dumbasses into Costco without facemask.

I’ve canceled my Costco membership after shopping there 35 years. I have no interest in shopping at Costco alongside masked sheep.

A good friend of mine lost his father last week after he battled lung cancer for two years. Cause of death: COVID-19 on the Death Certificate.

Yep, everything's getting labeled "COVID-19". It appears the States have a financial interest in labeling as many deaths as possible "COVID-19". Same for hospitals. As long as they can label any sickness as "COVID-19" to get the extra $$ from FedGov they seem to be doing it.

FTR, I live in Cook County here in Hellinois -- we're a big hot-spot.

If masks work, if socialist distancing works, if staying home and not “gathering” in groups works... Why is it still necessary to be doing it after more than TWO MONTHS?

Because it DOESN’T work, any of it. It is pure b.s. fear-mongering crap. Inflated, bogus “death tolls”, hyping up the deaths as though 83-year old people don’t die of assorted viruses every damned day. The difference is that now, our “leaders” are trying to convince everyone that they are directly responsible for keeping everyone else alive by submitting to all of this ridiculous crap.

”15 days to flatten the curve” became “Until we say it’s “safe”, and “Until there’s a vaccine” and “Until there are no new cases” or whatever. How long will it take for people like you to conclude that you are being deceived? And don’t bother accusing me of being selfish or callous - that’s not an argument.

“I spend over $1k per month at Costco and will let all those executives know I will cancel my membership if they allow ignorant dumbasses into Costco without facemask.”

Well I spend close to $2,000 per month in Costco, but last month I’m at about half that. The next billing cycle will be less.

Costco associates running around with their faces partially covered, people wearing bandanas over their mouths, or masks pulled down covering only the chin by Costco associates and customers alike. Zero effectiveness! So why the requirement?

I’m not much into virtue-signaling and that’s about all this policy is accomplishing.

So you’re right, I am taking my business elsewhere.

It must have been masks that killed off all those folks in 1918:

How dare they?

Wrong. My son has mental disabilities and cannot wear a mask (he is basically a one year old in a 15 year old body). We cannot wear a mask either as it upsets him. They are in violation of the ADA with this policy, if they try to enforce it.

The good news is I talked to the general manager at my location in GA and he said, all employees are instructed not to pursue any further, if you say you can’t wear one for medical reasons.

No Walmarts where you live?

I refuse to shop in a WalMart. I've been to the one near me, it's filthy 24x7. People in there act like animals and I've just no interest in going there. Tried one further away in a nicer area, same thing. I just don't find going to big box stores a pleasant experience and do my best to avoid them.

I shop a local grocery for food and may pay a little more but the quality of fruits, vegetables, fresh meat, etc.. is far better than WalMart's grocery or Meijer or any of the other big chains.

Since this China Virus breakout, I've stopped buying anything other than food. Everything else is on hold. I suspect I'm pretty typical that way.

Remember, problem is you have to pay them in advance in the form of an annual membership to be able to buy anything there. So at least IMO its not that cut and dried.

In a sense, I agree with the OP premise. I don’t normally wear a mask anywhere I go. However, if I want to shop at COSTCO (and I often do) I’ll put on a mask. If I refused to wear a mask there, I wouldn’t bother shopping there. Pretty simple really. It’s kinda like some businesses that have a sign on the door that concealed carry is not allowed. I don’t have to shop there, some place that allows concealed carry will have the same things I’m looking for...

The mask “controversy” is the same choice.
