You might be right. I dropped my expectations of justice with this thing long ago. However, Barr conclusively stated that the Russian collusion delusion was nonsense today. The media will not cover those comments because it is like the HCQ debacle and they cannot admit they were wrong.
However, Barr would not have said what he did today if he was not 100% confident that he could back it up and it will be backed up at some point in the future.
There is “something” happening. It most probably won’t be what we want (prosecutions and prison), but Barr would never have said what he said today (the first time he has stated it bluntly) if the story was not going to be revealed.
I will take anything at this point because its more than we got now. However, if he and Durham wait until after the November election to formally say this was all a hoax and a conspiracy I will be waving my pitchfork with everyone else.
This outrageous crap sandwich costs the President a significant amount of his first term. It cost the GOP votes in the mid-term election as the Mueller investigation dragged on. There are a sizable number of Americans who still believe Trump colluded with Russia because the media still beats that drum. Schiff wants the Mueller grand jury transcripts to try and resurrect the corpse once again even as Barr just clearly said it was all pure BS.
The sooner they can put the information out there the better and let Americans decide if they want to keep the democrats in congress on the collusion delusion witchhunt. The longer Barr and Durham wait to release this the more damage is done to Trump with it.
They need to wrap this crap up ASAP and release the facts to the court of the American public. It would be inexcusable to drag this out beyond the election, but based on how this has worked so far I would not be surprised if they did.
