I think she’s furious that “her people” on the south and west sides have been openly flouting her social-distancing/no-public-gatherings edicts, and it’s gotten into the news. Witness that huge house party on the west side, complete with strippers, that was streamed on Facebook Live...that REALLY made the news here, and she practically had smoke coming out of her ears at the pressers that followed.
Of course, she can’t punish “her people”, let alone control them, so she’s been taking out her anger on the “lakefront liberals” and north side whites that supported her, but tend to epitomize Tom Wolfe’s metaphor of “crushed nuts rolled in Brie” from his essay “Radical Chic”...and all they want to do is jog along the lakefront and use the parks, which she refuses to do.
