You said that exactly correct IMHO.
Unless you are a caretaker for a demented person 24/7 , as I am, you realize it is hopeless to expect dementia(Alzheimers in my wife's case) to stop or improve.
It is downhill all the way for Alzheimers.
Most every other form of dementia is the same, downhill al the way.
Recent memory loss will be the first sign. -Tom

Been there myself. Lost my mom to Alzheimer’s fourteen years ago, she was a RN. Worked in three nursing homes. You right, Joe’s going down hill, pretty fast too and there is no coming back from it. I’ve no sympathy for him. He’s grifting bum and a sexual pervert.
