Can you sum up what their theory is?
That it is possible, that the virus was being studied in a lab in Wuhan, that it was being modified for the purposes of the study, and that it got out. Not necessarily as a bioweapon, but a mistake. Because of the mods, it has given the virus some uncommon characteristics. But these two definately think it may have been a lab modified virus.
I would hazard a guess that since he and his wife were hounded from their jobs at The Evergreen State College by a mob of chanting maoist student dumbbells — including roving gangs armed with baseball bats looking to apprehend them — their devotion to all things liberal may be in some measure attenuated.
Although one never knows.
I think what he thinks is what Trump and Pompeo think.
And his brother is Eric Weinstein who is managing director of Thiel Capital.
