Yes, term limits for elected officials is not enough. We must have term limits for employment by the federal gov’t....perhaps double the political limit of 12 years.
Elected officials should not be allowed to jump around from elected office to elected office to avoid being limited out. They should be restricted to 24 years of elected office.
Federal employees should be limited to 24 years working anywhere in the federal gov’t. Changing agencies does not reset the clock.
After 24 years, you are not eligible to work in gov’t. You must go to the private sector.
WE NEED MANDATORY MINIMUM 10 YEARS JAIL FOR ANY GOVERNMENT FRAUD OR CORRUPTION

Thumbs up!
Excellent idea...but realistically, how many work longer than 24 years before being eligible for retirement?
I have a better idea. The federal budget is set a percentage of the GDP, say 1%. You defund the government and it will become smaller. And the government is not allowed to calculate the GDP. Independent organizations will do that.
Your idea is good, but 24 years is far too long. Make it 12 years or less.
