Two Words: President Trump. He quickly made sure that people slowed the spread by voluntarily shutting down the economy and then he made sure that the medical system was ready IF we do have another outbreak after the lockdown is lifted. He saved millions of lives.

Maybe COVID-19 killed the weakest first. Many of the dead were nursing home patients. Now I assume we are doing a better job of protecting vulnerable nursing home patients by requiring staff to wear ppe.

Weekend reporting is usually not complete. I guess smaller counties don’t send in their data unto Monday. That helps explain the spikes.

The dictators said the numbers goal was to “flatten the curve”, but that was intended as the way to achieve a main goal - manage the medical care of Wuhan Virus patients without the healthcare system being over whelmed.
We are there. We can open the businesses back up now.
The dictators talking about teets, testing, tracing and the like are using those things to move the goal post from what was claimed to be the reason for the lock downs. We have met that claim now, our healthcare system is managing the needs of Wuhan Virus patients and it is not overwhelmed.
Now its time to just open the economy. The rest will be taken care of as the days, weeks and months go on.
NY - 1456 deaths per 1M population; NJ - 1167 deaths per 1M; CA - 83 deaths per 1M population. But California is closed up tighter than a drum, due to the Commie Gov and the Commie LA Mayor and his Commie Public Health UNELECTED person.
