KAMLOOPS, B.C. - A Canadian Forces Snowbirds plane crashed in a residential area of Kamloops, B.C., on Sunday, sending neighbours pouring onto the street where they said debris was scattered and a house was on fire.
The Kamloops Airport said emergency crews were responding to the crash as defence officials were scrambling for details about the incident, the second crash involving the military's famed aerobatic team in less than a year.
British Columbia Health Minister Adrian Dix said one person was in hospital after paramedics and air ambulances responded to the crash.

Helicopter crash not too long ago and now this , yep there must be another Trudeau running the country and draining the military of every nickel ,they have no cents anymore
I don’t know what a Snowbird looks like in Canada but down here in AZ they look like retired people with an RV who comes down for the Winter and back home as soon as the cold is leaving their home.
Flying the same planes from 1963.
That pretty much sums up the whole Canadian air force. :)
The F-18’s are a bit younger, but pretty sure they’re 1st Block models.
They are the Royal Canadian Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, similar to the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels.

I saw the Snowbirds at a US air show some years ago.Quite impressive.
Girly fag white Obama will ban jets.
Video shown on Canadian news appears to indicate plane fell to earth at a very steep angle (almost vertical fall) after a climb and (intentional or not) barrel roll. Two puffs of smoke before impact may have been connected to pilot ejection? Looks like most of the fuselage came to rest in a field, can’t tell from reports so far if it clipped the house on the way down or if it broke up before impact. The video was taken from a distance (viewing from the airport, I think). Weather looked marginal, low ceiling about 2000 feet evident from video, reports say flights had been delayed by poor weather earlier. Where I live (higher elevation) it has been very foggy all day with scattered showers. The regional weather radar has been off-line for about a week now (located at Silver Star Mountain near Vernon BC) so I can’t say what sort of shower activity might have been in the area of the crash but on the video it was not raining visibly at the time.
We lived in Juneau for 25 years and saw the Snowbirds perform several times during July 4th festivities. They are a thrill to watch.
Canadair CT-114 Tutor. Or Link Trainers. Not too sure.
Tutors, per article.
Just looking at the video, two jets take off parallel, the one on the left immediately peels off and climbs rapidly, appears to stall and spin back down, two puffs of smoke appear in rapid succession and three or four seconds later there is a ground explosion hidden by trees. News reports say one of the ejecting crew (if there were two) landed on the house, not sure if any plane debris hit houses too, although just saw footage of what appears to be a wing segment burning in a front yard. The tail segment is also in the street and apparently hit a power line avoiding impact with any nearby houses. Same report says people in this house were in their back yard watching and were spared from injury. Most of the fuselage hit the field (which looks like it runs behind a row of houses). The plane was only about a minute into its flight if even that.
Local resident and witness thinks one pilot sustained two broken legs in landing and the other person did not survive.
Tragic. The Snowbirds do their job well.
The ejection is clearly visible on the video. What I don’t see is any sign of a good parachute for either pilot before they fall out of sight below the trees.
Seems that the parachutes only had time to partially deploy in the few seconds available, the woman sustained fatal injuries and was reportedly killed on impact. The male pilot had somewhat better luck and must have been slowed enough to remain alive albeit with serious injuries on impact.
