Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said on Sunday that he believes the $3 trillion Heroes Act that the Democrat-led House passed late last week has no chance of clearing the Senate arguing that it is more of a Democrat wish list than it is legislation meant to ease the economic blow from the coronavirus pandemic.
It's not going to pass the Senate, nor should it, Kennedy said during an interview on Sunday Morning Futures. My fellow Republicans in the Senate have tried to see things from the speaker's point of view, but we can't get our heads that far up our rear ends, and I think any fair-minded American would agree.
Democrats on Friday powered the massive $3 trillion coronavirus relief bill through the House, an election-year measure they say is designed to brace a U.S. economy in free fall and a health care system struggling to contain a pandemic still pummeling the country.

Is that guy really from Louisiana? He sounds like my East Texas kin......homespun humor, so funny and so true.....;)
I recorded show to watch after church. Just saw it. Kennedy’s interview was excellent. Most of his Kennedy-isms are hilarious.
Unfortunately, the constitution doesnt require us( Congress) to do anything.
I like Kennedy.
That was the best!
Don’t give the bastards any damned ideas; trust me, they would figure out a way to pop off a nuke.
Either do it themselves or find a proxy.
What are the Treasonists going to pull next? Set off a nuke?

Nuke or EMP or asteroid crash or alien invasion (of the outer space kind)will all cancel theelection and Trump will still be POTUS.
Bet you, though: they’re brainstorming it.
All I can see for them is keeping the Blue areas shut down. So glad I’m moving to a Trump county. This one is barely Trump, but the county seat is controlled by progs. Only a few businesses open after a court decision against the Governor.
I saw Sen. Kennedy interviewed on FNC last week. The host (Tucker?) read K’s very impressive list of credentials.
K may sound like a bumpkin to folks up North, but he is well schooled in the law and very intelligent.
...Like some others have stated, he’s the only Kennedy I’ve ever liked!
My SIL is active with Kennedy, Jr.’s effort on the vaccine issue. (He does seem like a stand-up guy, with actual principles beyond power and greed.) My bro and SIL feel that their state, NY, will be mandating vaccines for kids in the near future and are exploring other states.
