Well, here you have it, folks. Nancy's pipe dream legislation:
This Act may be cited as the "Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions Act" or the "HEROES Act"
Has a nice ring to it. You may download your own personal copy of the 1,815-page monstrosity from NPR here (first place I found it). If you'd like it autographed, you'll have to check with Ms. Pelosi.
To get a better idea of what this legislation is all about, spend some time perusing "Division P" of the legislation, starting on page 1452. This 75-page gem (This Act may be cited as the American Coronavirus/COVID19 Election Safety and Security Act or the ACCESS Act) is all about federalizing voting practices and procedures, and is essentially Pelosi's H.R. 1 reincarnated to include mail-in voting. This is what the end game is all about ... "access" for everyone to vote. And not for Donald Trump.

That Dems routinely pass 1,000+ page bills when maybe 10 pages will do is crazy! We KNOW they are hiding something in there.
Line item veto is SO NEEDED!
Appointment of Electors for President and Vice President is an exclusive prerogative of State Legislatures.
The fact that all 50 State Legislatures have chosen to allow voting by individuals is an artefact which is not at all necessary to the process, and Federal legislation (or Constitutional Amendments like XXII) which PRESUME individuals will be voting are unconstitutional, or in the case of XXII, fail to accomplish their purpose.
When you consider that the rest of the world is essentially voting in US elections then you get an idea of what us true-America-loving patriots are up against.
Pelosi and the rats know that they have all the parasites on their side.
I keep hearing Dims in interviewers saying this 1800 pages is just an opening proposal and the Pubs should take out whatever they don’t like and everyone negotiates just like it’s always done. Pelosi is trying to tie up the Senate with this nonsense. Pub Senators should not spend one minute reading this bill, but instead vote on a 20-page proposal of what needs to be done now. Don’t let Pelosi lead around by the nose.
Democrats: they are to ethics what a pile of dog poo is to fine French cooking.
Not gonna happen. This bill is DOA.
What if they miss a few points? Does the other side deliberately "muddy up" the bill to make it confusing?
Even more scary, is the final vetting of a bill dependent upon a small number of staffers from the opposing side? Is there a way that those staffers could be given "incentive" to overlook things?
As it is now, yes. Republicrats will ‘compromise’ in order the help out the American people or the excellent dnc machine will “prove” they didn’t sign because they don’t care.
Staffers. No way one person can do the entire review and not miss something. And you know the CONgress critters are too important to do it themselves. Thus, staffers. Who may have their own agendas and fail to mention certain things? A mess? Yup.
I would assume lobbyists write the parts to support their agenda and this is put together in one bill. Does anyone thing Nancy wrote this while on a break in California?
The Democrat party is entirely corrupt, in bed with foreign entities, and does NOTHING for Americans.
Anything the d’rats cook up will be and is anti-American. Is has become part of their DNA or a cult belief.
Their Socialist Democrat Party describes it all.
If anything prompts secession by the red states, this could be it, unless the SCOTUS first finds it unconstitutional.
The 75-pages buried in Pelosis 1,815-page bill all passed by proxy vote.
Democrats new plan don’t bother to come in in and vote we will do it for you and do what is best. (for the party)
Not necessary.
POTUS: “You expect me to read this >1000-page POS??? VETO!!!”
Since Pelosi is pushing this, the best thing to do is just scrap the whole mess. You’ll thank yourself later if it is fully read & analyzed anyway.
