Nice idea, but Sullivan won’t permit Powell to call any witnesses or introduce evidence. As far as Sullivan is concerned, his appointed prosecutor is there to deliver the closing argument. Flynn will get at least three years sentence from this judge.
I wonder if the appeals court will give Sullivan’s appointed prosecutor the chance to make that argument. I assume Powell has asked for a restraining order to prevent that.
