Did The Oxford Covid Vaccine Work To Protect Monkeys? Not Really
Forbes ^ | 05/16/2020 | William Haseltine

The day after data appeared from the vaccine maker Sinovac showed complete protection of rhesus monkeys by their vaccine candidate (whole inactivated SARS-CoV-2 virus particles), scientists from the Jenner Institute in Oxford issued a press release announcing that their vaccine (an adenovirus vector based vaccine that carried the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein) worked to protect rhesus monkeys and that they were moving forward with large scale human safety trials.

At the time, the substantiating data was not available. Now it is, in the form of a May 13 BioRxiv preprint. Does the data support the claim?

Not really. All of the vaccinated monkeys treated with the Oxford vaccine became infected when challenged, as judged by recovery of virus genomic RNA from nasal secretions. There was no difference in the amount of viral RNA detected from this site in the vaccinated monkeys as compared to the unvaccinated animals. Which is to say, all vaccinated animals were infected. This observation is in marked contrast to the results reported from Sinovac trial.

At the highest dose studied, no virus was recovered from vaccinated monkeys from the throat, lung, or rectum of the vaccinated animals.

There is a second troubling result of the Oxford paper. The titer of neutralizing antibody, as judged by inhibition of virus replication by successive serum dilutions as reported is extremely low. Typically, neutralizing antibodies in effective vaccines can be diluted by more than a thousand fold and retain activity. In these experiments the serum could be diluted only by 4 to 40 fold before neutralizing activity was lost.

Again, by contrast the titer of neutralizing antibodies in the serum of those vaccinated with whole inactivated SARS-CoV-2 was high.

Hmmm. The person who wrote the article is William A. Haseltine. He is Chair and President of Access Health International.

One of the “primary funders” of Access Health International is Bill Gates.

I hope I’m wrong, but I very much doubt that a vaccine will be quickly found, if at all.

And what good would a vaccine do anyway, since the China Virus is already mutating into something other than what it started out as?

Well, that’s the other part of why I’m a skeptic on the rapid development part of the vaccine.

The press and the “Rats have promoted having a vaccine as the only way to get back to “normal”, probably knowing that’s a higher bar than it might sound at first reading.

I don’t think that tactic is an accindent.

Sorry for 2nd reply.

I can’t help thinking, in my more skeptical moments, that a lot of this “hurry up, let’s get a vaccine made!” sound like just more feel-goodism, to make everyone feel like their govt. is “doing something”. Anything.

I think there was a lot of that as well.

But here we have Fauci, who at the start of his career predicted that HIV would a) spread throughout the general population and b) he would have a vaccine in two years. So he’s gotta know from personal experience that it’s one thing to say “we’ll have a vaccine” and another to produce one.

It’s tough, which is why companies that succeed should be richly rewarded.

The media are just stupid though. Probably had no idea what they were talking about from the very beginning.

“And what good would a vaccine do anyway, since the China Virus is already mutating into something other than what it started out as?”

Well, according to the following article
https://www.healthline.com/health-news/what-to-know-about-mutation-and-covid-19

“The new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has already mutated a handful of times, which has many people wondering whether the mutations could lead to a more severe, deadlier disease.

According to experts, the new mutations are extremely similar to the original virus that appeared in Wuhan, China, and don’t seem to be any more aggressive.

Because the mutations are so similar, a vaccine would likely protect people against not only the original strain but new mutations as well.”

Mutations will optimize toward organism survival.
Its a poor strategy to kill the host, mutations will trend toward maximize spread of the organism. This would mean asymptomatic or mild conditions will come to dominate.

Remember the saying of soap box, ballot box and ammo box?

For the virus, it is prophylaxis, treatment, cure.

Prophylaxis would be something like BHT which destroys the lipid envelope of this type virus. It’s cheap and safe.

Treatment is the trinity of the HQC plus Z Pac and antibiotic. The deep state propaganda studies all omit the zinc to scare people away with bogus “results”.

Both of these are non patent approaches to the virus, with no huge payoff for anyone - hence the resistance. It’s still all about the money.

Cure? Good luck with that. Remdesivir has huge impact on organs. For a virus that so far has 30 mutated strains, the combinations are endless. The obvious targets are the S protein spikes or the envelope. (BHT dissolves the envelope.)

It is easier to assume that this was a human engineered weapon or vaccine, and plan accordingly. Cheap, off-patent items should be widely explored by end users and physicians, without waiting for “official” sources.

I agree; go with what works, and is reasonably priced; BHT and HCQ + azithro + zinc.

Vaccine for WuhanVirus?

Probably when they find one for the common cold (never).

Look here’s some simple facts - the coronavirus family is very very small viruses which are virtually impossible to come up with a vaccine for

If you compare them to the smallpox virus for example - the small box of hours approximately 100 times bigger ; a DNA virus. Very stable ( 1000s of years old ). and thus , much easier to attack

Look they don’t even called the flu shot and a flu vaccine do they ?

The bottom line is this viruses are very tricky to try to vaccinate against rhinoviruses coronaviruses in particular exceptionally hard since 1984 they’ve tried to find a vaccine for the aids virus - no luck

No like I’m gonna call the vaccine industry evil ! because the target little babies !!! and little baby shouldn’t be shot up with anything !! never !!!!!!!! Never mind multiple rounds of this nonsense. Adjuncts. Etc

Since the 1970s when this crap became widespread they have pretty much invented the entire autism spectrum disorder

Yup. Don’t be shocked when they start injecting a placebo to save face.
