Agreed. Three points worth considering.

1. Hungary knows a little bit about oppressive, tyrannical regimes. So it’s hard to believe that they would just roll over for Red China.
2. The South China Morning Post is based in Red China, not Taiwan. So it’s fair to say that the SCMP is at least influenced by the ChiCom party line.
3. Who the heck can say exactly what happened in a phone call between two individuals? I’ll wait until Viktor Orbán says something about this.
