Newt Gingrich's argument that she's just trying to 'fire up' each segment of her voting base for the election has merit, imo.

When I first learned of the bill, I thought 'she knows this is going to be doa, they're must be something else going on here.'

Much like the Sullivan thing, this may simply be about dragging things out as long as possible, too.

I am amazed you didn’t know this sort of thing happens all the time. A Party proposes legislation knowing it has NO CHANCE of passing but will give the Party talking points claiming thry wanted to help but the bad ______ (fill in name) wouldn’t let us do it.
