Isn't that what you are doing right now?
This has been my position from the get go:

1. This bill is nuts. Every single GOP congressman (outside of the congressman from Long Island, King) and US Senator including Mitch, McCarthy has said so. A few Democrats even voted against it.

2. The bill is DOA in the US Senate. Mitch and every GOP Senator have said so. No comment from Mitt as usual. He may like it, but it won't make any difference.

3. In the unlikely event that it passes (we have Mitt, Susan Collins, Murkowski to worry about), the president has repeatedly vowed a veto, including this thread. In the event of a veto, the Dems will not have the votes to override it. Not in The House. Not in the Senate.

4. This bill will not pass. Period.

5. Will other bills, unrelated to this particular bill pass at some time or the other depending on future developments? Possible. But we are talking about Pelosi’s very terrible bill here on this and the other threads. They are threads about Pelosi’s lousy bill.

>>>Will other bills, unrelated to this particular bill pass at some time or the other depending on future developments? Possible.

AND THIS IS WHAT I SAID IN MY FIRST FEW POSTS TO YOU!

"They aren't going to get "everything" - but they will get most things...just like last time. That is how this game is played. They already KNOW they won't get these things. It's a game (see my tagline - which is not new - it's been there for years). They set the bar at $3 trillion - knowing they won't get it - and the Senate says "DOA!!!" - Freepers CHEER! And then we get $2 - 2.5 trillion - Trump signs. Freepers move on. Watch.

So - I said this in post # TWO to you. This is how bills are done. The house (when it comes to spending) does a bill - in this case the Senate rejects it - it will go to committee. The will make sausage. A LOT of stuff that is already IN Pelosi's bill will make it into the final bill. As I said FROM THE BEGINNING - "That is how this game is played. They already KNOW they won't get these things."

This is called negotiation. You start with your HIGH bid and the senate will start with their ZERO bid and they will meet in the middle. I'm not sure what you aren't getting or what about that first post makes you think I wanted her bill in the first place....because I CLEARLY do not. I was CLEARLY pointing out that the same thing that happened LAST TIME WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.

So - what happened last time? NANCY put in a lot of crap - Trump and Mitch said NO - and she took MOST of the crap out...

AND GUESS WHAT - we STILL GOT CRAP!

And YOU ARE GOING TO GET ANOTHER CRAP SANDWICH AND YOU BETTER KNOW IT

NS Sherlock. I SAID THAT POST #2 to you - Again - you apparently CANNOT READ: "That is how this game is played. They already KNOW they won't get these things. It's a game (see my tagline - which is not new - it's been there for years). They set the bar at $3 trillion - knowing they won't get it"

Did phase 4 have boondoggle for illegals?
Compulsory mail in balloting and billions to fund it?
Provisions for every single Dem wet dream that has nothing to do with coronavirus?
Did phase 4 cost $3 Trillion?
Vetoing this bill(if it passes) will do wonders for Trump’s reelection.
If Mitch turns round and promotes this bill, he shouldn't be surprised if the GOP loses control of the Senate in November.

Look - here is what Freepers do NOT want to admit about Trump: He is NO fiscal conservative. He isn't like most of us. In 2016 he admitted that: "I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me"

Most of his wealth was built upon massive amounts of debt - and if those particular parts of his business failed - he wrote it off - or declared bankruptcy. He didn't care.

That philosophy has translated into the way he is running the country - which is why he was proposing a budget with a $1.3 trillion deficit PRE-COVID. That's why now he will have zero issues signing $2 trillion more in stimulus or more - several times. He thinks since interest rates are low - now is the time to borrow.

People will hate that I am saying this - but watch what he does - and look back on what he has done. The Trump organization was $3+ billion in debt in the 1990's - and he didn't blink an eye.

Um, post # 2 wasn’t to me. Look up.
Again this is not about other bills. This thread and the other .threads hsve been about Pelosi’s abominable bill and it’s inevitable collapse.

Again - that was their starting point. They KNEW they would not get these things. They are running for election TOO.

They WILL compromise on some things - bank on it. Trump wants things in Phase IV that Nancy will hold hostage - take it to the bank. That is how sausage is made. Trump said “I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me,”

And he will have ZERO issues with signing another $2 trillion in stimulus and enslaving my grandchildren to the debt ball. Personally - I am SICK of the hypocrisy of the right - who hated OBAMA because of $1 trillion - but gives Trump a pass at MULTIPLE TRILLIONS

And you will give him a pass too. WATCH.

Yeah - it was post#2 TO YOU. the second post TO YOU.

I said as much in the previous post - if you had bothered reading it: " I SAID THAT POST #2 to you'

But - I forget you are slow - so - that would be #44.

So far all the evidence is Trump gets it done and under budget.

OK - dude - seriously - you are really not smart enough for me to have an intellectual conversation with. It's like arguing with my dachshund. She's cute and all - but about as smart as a box of hair.

Have a good day.

Trump has been a liberal most of his life yes.
But in reality his presidency has been even more conservative than Reagan in every way I can think of including judges, deregulation, pro business policies etc.
He has not been great on the deficits, true. But this particular Pelosi bill has gone too far. Almost Everyone on the GOP side is up in arms. Trump has vowed a veto, which he never did with any of the other spending bills.
As long as Pelosi’s bill dies.

>>>So far all the evidence is Trump gets it done and under budget.

He was proposing a $1.3 trillion budget deficit to congress PRE-Covid. Now - I KNOW you have compromised ANY principles you may have once held. He signed a budget - against the promise he made in 2017 - and put us over a $1 trillion in debt in 2019...just as much as Obama.

YOU HAVE NO PRINCIPLES. YOU ARE A SELLOUT. You might as well be a liberal spender.

You could have just said post # 44, which is what almost everyone else does.
Who has time to scroll through all these posts looking for the ranking number of a particular post from a particular poster?

You are having a bad day aren’t you..................

Again, even if you don’t have ears to hear. Yes, budgets are prepared and he signed it. But watch where and how the money is spent. He is NOT obama.
